You should be able to do this (at least in SQL Server 2K) by adding an
Alternate Key to the column you want to display on the DB, then go to the
IDE, sync with DB, go to the table with the display column in it, check the
select in the IDE called "Simple alternate key" to make sure it picked up
your Alt Key from the DB. Then, it seems you have to completely delete and
recreate the CFM pages where your want the filtered select. Then, regen
your code (maybe better to rerun your setup, I'm not sure), and this worked
for me (after a lot of trial and error... ugh).
