I agree John that using the User’s email address as the Login Username may not always be a company’s choice.  In the app I am working on however it was fine to leave it as their email—so I can’t comment directly on yea/nea or how?   But I am, as we speak, working on a modification to the PlumUser table to add a UserTitleID.  Which will then be used to pull a UserTitle (such as Vice-President, General Manger, etc.) for a UserTitles table that I just added.   I am making modifications in the CFC Security.cfc to the UserQuery (to get the UserTitle value and to add this variable/value to the session variables –along side session.nameofloggedinuser.   I had posted this to the list earlier with a similar “am I doing this right” question, but haven’t heard back from anyone yet.   Since it looks like we’re working in a similar neck of the woods I’ll share my experiences with you and the list.     Yours truly,   Dan Kaufman       -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Stanley Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2005 12:54 PM To: 'plum@mail.productivityenhancement.com' Subject: [plum] Question about user logins   Well, the tutorials are all finished. To be frank, that's probably not gonna fly with our users.
