Yes, that's most likely what's happening. You can solve this by downloading CF_2CFMODULE from our website.
We have an Alpha version of the new automatic service that handles the CF_2CFMODULE functionality in the background, and also lets you edit the CF_ version in HomeSite but preview the CFMODULE version automatically. I can get you an early Alpha if you're willing to risk experimenting with unsupported stuff.
