Hi Adam, I'm using MS Access
There are several other tables in the database, and one tblusers table. I did not create any tables, this was the first time in a while that I decided to try PLUM, primarily because I have to create CRUD forms for these 10 tables. (not something I really want to do by hand). I did not see the results of any population messages, beside what I pasted : > "Plum discovered the following errors: > > The following user does not exist in the database: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please create this user and give him the > Administrator role. > The following user does not exist in the database: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please create this user and give him the Can Access Admin role. > <snip>" Apparently, it created the tables correctly, but all of them have no data. Perfect structure, but no data. Ok..so I take it I didn't miss something totally obvious and that this actually wasn't supposed to happen :) -Gel -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Adam Churvis Sent: Saturday, April 09, 2005 10:38 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [plum] Stupid question, how do I add a new user? Something happened when Plum IDE was trying to populate the required Plum tables, and it failed to populate with sample data. Are there any other tables in your database? Are there any relations between those tables and the Plum tables? What database platform are you using? During population in the New Project Wizard, did you read the results of each table's population message? Did any of them say anything about not being able to populate the table? Can you try it again and supply us with this information? Don't worry, Gel-- we'll help you get through this. BTW, once your Plum project successfully populates with sample data, you'll be able to login and add users and roles with no problem at all, and the navigation on the admin side is straightforward about how it's all done.
