I used the Productivity Enhancement CF_2module utility to convert custom
tag calls to module calls in a shared environment and it worked great.
Thanks,
Frederick

I like the idea of adding the extra modules at generation time, and I
also like the notion of an advance mode that bypasses the wizard.
What about an option to deploy for shared host that would use CFMODULE
syntax and perhaps catch a few other issues due to common shared-host
restrictions. I am curious how many beta testers here have
experimented with deploying plum on shared hosts.

Subject: [plum] V1.1
So I'm sitting here thinking about V1.1, and I'm wondering about adding
optional functionality to Plum right out of the box, so I wanted
everyone's
opinion on this idea:
1) When creating a new Plum project, one of the New Plum Project Wizard
panels asks if you want to install PlumForums (just a pair of Yes/No
radio
buttons).
2) A second panel asks if you want to install PlumCatalog and PlumCart.
3) Additional panels ask if you want to install additional modules.
First question: does this sound like a good idea?
Second question: what should one or more of those "additional
modules" be?
I'm seriously thinking about including PlumForums,
PlumCatalog/PlumCart, and
these additional modules for free along with Plum, so that Plum could
literally have just about everything you'd need (except custom business
processes and graphics, of course) two minutes after launching the
Plum IDE.
What do you all think?
Also, I'm going to take Sean Corfield's advice and rename Plum IDE "Plum
Generator" in V1.1.
Thanks in advance for your feedback. :)
