We're winding down on the project that has taken every moment of the past half year, so we'll be able to put some work into Plum soon, but we need to have either some community participation or corporate sponsorship (or both) once we get rolling.
There are some things that might be changing relatively soon in BlueDragon to handle Lucene (the equivalent of Verity) better, which we'd need to make the BlueDragon.NET version of the Plum Framework ready for public consumption and not become a tech support problem. I'll tell you what, though. We've put the BlueDragon.NET version of the Plum Framework through some pretty high-end workouts on a hardware load balanced cluster with failover, and it just sings. We've tweaked a few things along the way to increase speed, and the framework itself is truly lightweight in terms of what it adds to a request (almost nothing, once you add the Verity fix I posted last week). There are a number of things we need to handle as soon as we have some time, like PlumForums, the automatic version of CF_2CFMODULE, etc. I'm also conjuring up a fusion of navigation-breadcrumbing-CMS that should prove interesting if I can find the time to build it into Plum. The main things I want to tackle right away are the issues with some inflexibility in the Plum forms. We were pressed for time to release, so we went with the aliasing technique you now have, but I just don't like it. With only minimal restrictions (like no spaces in database object names), I want to be able to plunk down a form, nest a list inside the form, and just have it work -- period. So if anyone wants to participate, contact us offlist and let us know.
