Gotcha.

Plum doesn't have a built-in file upload field custom tag, so you'll need to just use a typical HTML file upload control inside a cf_DisplayExtraFormContent Plum custom tag.  In the action page, just process the database call as you normally would.

Make your download page using a cf_DisplayList Plum custom tag, and for the column containing the download links use a cf_DisplayExpressionInList Plum custom tag and build your _expression_ around the column that contains the URL to the file on disk.

Hope this helps.  Let me know how it turns out for you, or if you need any additional help.

Thanks Adam - I want to allow a site admin to point at a file and upload to the site and the app records the file name and destination so that in the front end a user can click on a link and produce the file. Does PLUM do this out of the box?

Have a look here Adam (I'm trying to get converted from using Code Charge to PLUM - its a much more complete system than Code Charge :-)

Kevin,

Can you give me some more details on what you're trying to accomplish?

How are file uploads, as part of a database record, ideally handled in PLUM
