Thanks Adam - perhaps you can consider putting this
on the wish list as from my experience its a reasonably common thing these days
as site owners etc publish docs and images and other files to their web
sites.

Plum doesn't have a built-in file upload field custom tag, so
you'll need to just use a typical HTML file upload control inside a
cf_DisplayExtraFormContent Plum custom tag. In the action page, just
process the database call as you normally would.
Make your download page using a cf_DisplayList Plum custom
tag, and for the column containing the download links use a
cf_DisplayExpressionInList Plum custom tag and build your _expression_ around the
column that contains the URL to the file on disk.
