Hello! I own an HP dv5000 laptop with a Cetrino Duo processor, 1 GB RAM, S-ata disk, NVidia Geforce GO 7400, etc. I configured the suspend feature as mentioned on some place here: - Modified /etc/power.conf to include "S3-support enable". - Ran pmconfig. - Restarted hal. After this, when I clicked on System-Shutdown-Suspend, the machine did everything but suspend. The wireless led indicator started to blink, the fans started to spin like hell, etc. The last solution was to poweroff the machine with the power button. On my /var/adm/messages I saw this:
