There is your problem. Looks like there is some sort of an issue with the cpu driver when the machine is on battery. I am sure that list members more familiar with CPUPM might have some questions (or maybe answers, but are there any BIOS settings for CPU frequency control? <snip> > Oh, and by the way, I have set suspend as action when closing the lid.
