Hello. I've recently tried out OpenSolaris 2008.11, which is very nice. Suspend and resume works on my laptop (Clevo M540N), but only if I'm on AC power. If I'm using the battery, however, it won't suspend. If I close the lid the screen is blanked though and I have to type in the password when opening the lid. If I simply try to suspend from the gnome menu, nothing happens.
If I could get this to work I'd probably switch from Ubuntu to OpenSolaris for good! Best regards /Christian Asker
