[pm-discuss] pm confusion and build 122

I have been tracking this discussion from indiana-discuss.  I am seeing a 
slightly different behavior on my protege(r600).   Once I upgraded build 122, 
whenever I try to suspend, it appears to start the process of suspending the 
system since X stops (and the screen disappears), there is a lot of disk 
activity but at the end it appears to "reset" since I see a login screen. I 
have tried setting /etc/power.conf to poll-mode as suggested and it make not 
difference.
