I replicated this issue on my T400. This should not be the USB related, because my laptop doesn't have any USB devices connected. I'm not sure what difference of Xorg between SXCE-B122 and OpenSolaris-snv122. But assume that we are talking about OpenSolaris-snv122, not SXCE. When the system is in idle with Xorg enabled, I found the scheduler ping-pong between idle and another kthread. Thru checking the t_procp member in this kthread, I got this. char [17] u_comm = [ "Xorg" ] char [80] u_psargs = [ "/usr/X11/bin/Xorg :0 -nolisten tcp -audit 0 -br \ -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth" ] That is why I think this issue is Xorg related.
