Funny you should mention that - I've been thinking of asking that as recently as today, but I know/assume it would be non-trivial. I use sfacctd and am likely to need the ability to split our current (input) sflow streams into multiple (output) sflow streams based on MAC address. > This would make pmacct the "onestop show" for netflow/sflow and get rid of > the > need to use nprobe (ntop.org) and sflowtool (inmon.com) together with pmacct > for people who don't have netflow/sflow capability in their switches, or who > want to convert between netflow and sflow... > > Paolo, How hard would such an addition be? This would be *really* cool, because I could do with this functionality now (WRT sflow), but I'm interested to hear others thoughts (especially as I don't really have many/any coding skills ;) Cheers Ivan P.S. Converting sflow -> netflow is possible using "sflowtool", but you lose layer-2 info, obviously. - -- Ivan Beveridge <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.linx.net/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEqqIWQQZN5jq7vncRAnguAJ0atcLtAP1b3N183lrMdaxYAc13jwCfYjTf yIQON6ahYmh6C/aqhr/Vx6g= =h8Fn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ pmacct-discussion mailing list http://www.pmacct.net/#mailinglists
