Hello list, For completeness-sake of this thread, here's a small follow-up.
The issue mentioned in this thread has been 'solved' by using a slightly different commandline. Instead of using: /usr/bin/pmacct -l -r -c src_host -M "*" -p /tmp/pmacct_$dir.pipe I now use: /usr/bin/pmacct -l -e -s -p /tmp/pmacct_$dir.pipe According to Paolo this uses a different technique to query/alter the data and doesn't suffer from the issue I noticed with the other commandline. The issue remains that the use of the other commandline is still flawed, but that's now less of an issue for me.
