I'm having a look at if pmacct will be suitable as a bandwidth
accounting/reporting solution for work and was wondering if anyone had a
spec file to build rpms of a recent version for CentOS5/RHEL5. The only
ones linked to from the website seem to be a bit old (0.9.6). if not
I'll adapt the ones from the silfreed repository.
Out traffic profile would be about 200Mbps (average, up to about
400Mbps max) http/https/pop3/imap/ftp/ssh across about 150 servers. If
anyone has experience of a similar size/volume i'd be interested to know
what kind of hardware they are using.
