Hi Armin One further problem, hopefully simple. I had all working well until I started to define searches, which I did in config_default.xml. The searches do work, but now the map will no longer load (even after deleting cookies, rebooting, etc.) I have a php error "getLayerByName failed for : highlight_4 in C:\ms4w\apps\pmapper\pmapper-4.0.beta2\incphp\map\map.php on line 728". I can see that highlight layers 0, 1, and 2 are defined in template.map but there is no highlight_4 defined there which I assume is causing the problem but I can't see a way to fix it since I did not modify template.map and I can't find anywhere else that this may be defined.
Are you able to help one more time please? Moving the scale slider provokes a php error, which is: > PHP Warning: getLayerByName failed for : cities10000eu in > C:\ms4w\apps\pmapper\pmapper-4.0.beta2\incphp\map\map.php on line 708 > > There is obviously still some reference to the original demo layer > cities10000eu somewhere, but I have looked everywhere and can't find it. MS4W uses cookies for sessions, so sessions can be persistent (I always recommend to disable this for p.mapper, at least in the development phase with lots of modifications). armin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Are you an open source citizen?
