Hi, I think you are talking about the "description" metadata tag in the template mapfile.
You have to: - change the description value in your template.map with a "code". For instance "point_layer_description_with_non_utf_chars". - add the corresponding translation in your language file (/pmapper/locale/language_en.php for instance) : "$_sl['point_layer_description_with_non_utf_chars'] = 'Point layer with Ä Ö Ü characters in desc';" Thomas BSAP (Thomas Andres) a écrit : > Sehr Geehrte, > > > > I found the problem.
