Dear all, I would like to ask if there is a plugin or a way to add a new layer from the pmapper web interface (using shapefile data or PostGIS). What I've always done is that: - I create my mapfile (everything inside is static) so every time I need to add a new layer, I add it manually in my mapfile (adding LAYER name...type...connection...metadata...projection...class....... END) - Then I modify my config xml manually (such as adding the <group>new_layer</group> and <searchitem ... >...</searchitem>)
Is there a way to do all of that by using a plugin or something else via the web interface so we do not need to modify manually the mapfile and the config xml and the other files related to the modification.
