I suppose this sort of thing is important to some, and is a feel-good type
of reinforcement but I believe it is also harmful because it is no
different than suicide bombers believing in their 72 virgins. It is
anti-science and mythical and spiritual views no matter how supposedly
they heal or claim to be healing and mystical, they are diversions from
the real concerns which is the using up of available resources and the
unfair distribution of these resources and material things which become
the motivation for wars. But life will never be fair (and I don't believe
it will nor can it be because of inherent instincts, not just human but it
appears afflicting all species) -- but if it could be fair it would take a
conscious effort and just being human we have the ability to realize we
can make the world better. But, alas, I did say I dont' think that is
possible. I wish I could be proven wrong.
