It took 60 years for Magen David Adom to be accepted by the International Red Cross - one excuse after another was used to exclude it and the change came about, not because of the innovation of a new symbol or because of a change of heart in Europe, but because the American Red Cross cut off funds until the discrimination against Israel ended. Double standards when it comes to Jews and Israelis.
