Salman Rushdie was a Muslim like Moyer is a
Christian.
Khomeini had more in common with Pat Robertson
and Ralph Reed than with Pope John 23rd.

Yes, like you can say that Christians who want
Jews to die for Armagedon are false Christians.

The two largest sects of Christianity are the
Southern Baptists abd the Roman Catholics. They
comnsider Jesus divine and the Bible (New Testament)
God's last message. Therefore, SOME OF THEM consider
that Christianity supersedes all other revealed
religions. Consequently, SOME BELIEVE humanity should
convert to Xtianity or at least live under Xtian Rule.
Damn you, Hank Roth. you cynical two-faced
so-and-so., You've got ME, a confirmed and life-long
(since seventeen) five-star atheist telling you about
all this religious crap and you know it all just as
well as, if not better than, I do.
By the way, an interesting note: the Shiites are
hierarchical like the Catholics while the Sunnis tend
to have distributed interpretation of the Koran. Both
can have gentle people and raving butchers in their
ranks, even as Chistians, Jews, and atheists like you
and I, may have among our numbers.
