Maybe I misunderstood you previously, but pocl should not install
libOpenCL.so.* at all when compiled in the ICD mode. It should
install only libpocl.so which the ICD loader (libOpenCL.so) finds via
an pocl.icd file copied to the standard system ICD search
path. /etc/OpenCL/vendors works for ocl-icd and Khronos ICD on Linux
at least.
