I've just put on CPAN a new module that is of potentional interest on this list: Pod::HTML2Pod. The insides of the module look like the product of a fever dream, but it does seem to work passably at translating HTML into POD -- not so that people can try turning any old document into POD, but so that they can, if it behooves them, write in HTML and use and learn from the POD that it converts to. -- Sean M.
