Or another alternatives: 1. In openssl they skipped 2 and went from 1.1 to 3 where they also started single digit versioning in soname. So for podofo it would be 2 for now. But maybe the reason for this was different and their soversion reflects the actual openssl major version. 2. Use just a major version of podofo so for 0.10.0 it would be 0 for now (which is different from 0.9.7). Provided that the major version of podofo is increased only due to breaking changes and that this is equivalent to ABI changes (should it be?). > Regards, > Francesco >
