I'd like to get as much working as can be done in plain old perl.
Otherwise, I can't argue. As perl's README.os2 says, "OS/2 is not
Unix", and neither's Win32, and nobody should really expect either to
be.
Expect me to take a brief, shallow stab at fixing some of those
warnings. Any day now!
