May I ask what C compiler/tools you are using to do this? nmake (VC++ 6.0)
seems not like running 'test' on POE, but the Filter package seemed to build
and test okay.

 Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]

 C:\POE-0.15>perl -v

This is perl, v5.6.1 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
(with 1 registered patch, see perl -V for more detail)

Binary build 628 provided by ActiveState Tool Corp.

 C:\POE-0.15>nmake test

         E:\Perl\bin\Perl.exe ./lib/deptest.perl

 Gathering files from MANIFEST.
 Building dependency tree.
IO::Socket was used ok, but it didn't appear in %INC at ./lib/deptest.perl

I'd like to get as much working as can be done in plain old perl.
Otherwise, I can't argue. As perl's README.os2 says, "OS/2 is not
Unix", and neither's Win32, and nobody should really expect either to
be.

Expect me to take a brief, shallow stab at fixing some of those
warnings. Any day now!

That sucks. Which annoying warning? I think you told me once, but
I've forgotten.
