See the AIM protocol in POE?

Is anyone out there working on porting either AOL's OSCAR or TOC protocol
to POE?  There's two or three implementations on CPAN, but they're kinda
experimental and less than nice... It would be cool to see
POE::Component::AOL one of these days.  Just throwing this idea out there.
