If someone were to write a POE SNMP component, would it be best to wrap it around an existing CPAN SNMP module or go for yet another SNMP implementation?
If your preference is to wrap the component around an existing SNMP module would it be preferred to use an all Perl implementation of SNMP such as Net::SNMP or SNMP_Session, or would the UCD-SNMP SNMP.pm be best? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd
