Rational Rose also takes this approach. The interface elements in a language like Java have a prety close mapping to the class diagram. I still maintain though that the relation between modeling and implementation should not be the prime directive for this POE Object Environment work of Rocco's. I expect that any reasonable development process will come up with an implementation that can be mapped from a XMLized class diagram. --
