POE 0.24 is finally released. Thanks, everyone, for the work you've put into it.
This release includes a major refactoring of POE::Kernel. The stage is now set for XS and other scalability enhancements. Most people will only notice the new mandatory warnings introduced by a scheduled signal handler deprecation. - http://poe.perl.org/?POE_RFCs/Signal_Reforms There also are a number of improvements, mostly contributed by POE's users through the mailing list and IRC. The change logs list the grueling details since 0.23. - http://poe.perl.org/?POE_CHANGES Even now the latest tarball should be hurtling towards your favorite CPAN mirror. It is also on the web, and so is a (working!) Windows PPD and tarball. - http://poe.perl.org/?Where_to_Get_POE Thanks again to everyone who helped with this release. -- Rocco Caputo / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / poe.perl.org / poe.sf.net
