hi, the poeftp.sf.net project is registered under my name. considering the fact that i will probably not be working with perl or even POE any longer (at least except small scripting stuff), it is probably better to try to merge the different implementation efforts and use this name for a proper ftp component.
IMHO using a petri net would still be the best route to take. i haven't worked on the petri net module (CPN) any more though, so this might need off-topic effort. the CPN stuff worked so far when i tried it, and it just lacks some basic features which shouldn't be too hard to implement. but it does not provide the easy use of other petri net implementations, as there is no graphical editor (well, there are pieces). i could try to find some time and finish a release. but as i will not be using it that would not make sense unless a) there are users or b) someone maintains it. a CPN module might be good for other people, can anyone point me to the proper place to ask at ? please reply if you are interested or know someone who is. torvald
