At some point (time allowing and when I get caught up), I'll create a new section on the website called "Resolutions" just a list of things we've all voted on for record.
One more thing I should mention. Part of the project vision and vision statement is documenting all of the file formats. I need to link the sun doc to the site. For those who don't know, we work with OpenOffice.org to document Excel file format. We'll be looking for someone to collaborate on the Doc format docs or we may have to home grow that. I think we've all kind of agreed now that Documentation is part of the "poi" project-culture.. Its what sets us apart from the rest! Hell it sets us ahead of the 10k solution that up until recently provided only javadoc! (for a massive API!) I'd really like to applaud Marc especially for taking the time to rewrite even the whole POIFS doc! Impressive! I can't wait to get HPSF on the website too. Part of what will bring people to the project is we'll be the single best source of even the basics of OLE 2 CDF information. I'd like it to be ultra-embarrasing to Microsoft and other interested mega-corporations that people come HERE for the information and not to their sites. -Andy >On Tue, 19 Feb 2002 14:12:47 0100 Rainer Klute <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote. >>Kind of the coding standard we agreed upon (off the top of my head) as a >>group was: >> >>1. all public and protected functions must have javadoc >>2. all subprojects must have at least a how-to and some sample code >>explaining their basic use. >>3. stuff must compile >>4. the build must work > > 1 > >I'd like classes and packages to have javadoc, too.
