/At the moment since I couldn't figure out what the method should do enough to rewrite it to the LittleEndian classes, etc, I'm throwing a runtime exception. If you can read that, match it up to the documentation and we can figure out what it does, we should be able to reimplement it! I'm certainly willing to do the (insubstantial) coding provided I know what it should look like.
