Thanks. This may be enough for me to fix the method. I'll investigate it further. Give me a few days as I'm working on something else at this very moment. (days not months). Finally you lend me a hand with this. Sheesh. As for the "Take it or leave it" - thats up to you. You've been given an opportunity with this project, that I made the mistake of giving you too freely without you really earning it. Hence why you're the only one here who I think doesn't value it. So if we have to do everything your way and on your time: "leave it" -- if you plan to start living up to your end of the bargain, then I feel differently. Lets work together or not, lets try to be less pedantic and have fewer stupid long winded discussions. You FINALLY answered my question. This finally helps. Please do the following: open your browser, goto javadoc on the poi project page and click on the LittleEndian class, if you still feel this is hard to understand, then you scare me...you really do. Next, open a class I modified to us Little endian in the cvs web viewer thing, do a quick diff. If this still feels like a learning curve....then I'm really scared. This will be a time investment of 3 minutes (1 for javadoc, 1 for diffing, 1 for browser/navigation overhead).
