No that has nothing to do with it.  It is because Avalon had a big pissing
infantile contest some time back.  "My code..no mine...no mine..no yours"...
They removed the author tags...and some individuals.  I guess the board
figures what's good for the geese is good for the gander.

I'm against any removal of author tags (unless you're removing your own,
which you can but I will be sad).  We don't have that problem here.  The
biggest problem we have is your common Java developer doesn't know his way
around a hex dump.  I want to give every accord to those we can for
participating.  It has always served this project well and I see no need to
change it just because someone else had a problem.
