Hi! I am also interested in Excel charts, both using and contributing.
Perhaps it would make sense to upload all the docs about the Excel charts to a publicly available web-site and then discuss/code a prototype "module" for creating some simple (most often used) chart types (IMHO, these are bar and pie charts).
