I would like to see if it is possible to
1- create a new excel with POI and then add some properties to it
2- open and existing excel (created with POI or another tool, ms/excel also)
and update the properties.
I've tried the demo "WriteAuthorAndTitle" under "poi-3.0-alpha1-20050719.jar"
but
1- it writes a new destination xls but I can't see any property added
2- it crashes with the following error:
org.apache.poi.hpsf.HPSFRuntimeException: Could not read file "//
SummaryInformation".
Reason: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: cp1252
