If I am understanding the documentation correctly, Polipo uses pipelining natively and it can improve performance if we make use of a PMM setting in "polipo.conf". Is that so, or would I need to make an additional setting in "polipo.conf" to utilize pipelining? The example configuration file I am using recommends increasing the default values if we have fast connections, which I do have. So I considered using these values in "polipo.conf":
pmmFirstSize = 20480 pmmSize = 10240 I would be utilizing Polipo for the most part with Firefox in Windows over the tor network. Based on what I read so far, I understand that Firefox can implement pipelining but that it is not turned on by default. Am I correct in assuming that it would not be necessary to modify Firefox's setting to enable pipelining if I am using it with Polipo since Polipo itself already implements it? Thanks. John A.
