Subject: RE: [Politech] Did Congress just make inbound spam filtering illegal? [sp]

I think Al is wrong. The opt-out address does not need to be the same as the sender's personal corporate email address. In fact, no one will do it that way. The opt-out address can easily be set up separately from other corporate addresses that are filtered ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Or the opt-out can be done on a website. Either way, regular inbound spam filtering on regular mail accounts can continue uninterrupted. _______________________________________________ Politech mailing list Archived at http://www.politechbot.com/ Moderated by Declan McCullagh (http://www.mccullagh.org/)
