It would require more than a thousand in the group that marches to make it work... more like 20,000 plus. Were the group to police itself by making sure that every man watched every other to make sure the weapon stayed slinged I see no problem doing the march.
As far as Bill Mahers comparison to Waco... it's apples and oranges as are most of his arguments. The biggest problem is who would actually be leading the march.. are they respectable and mainstream "enough" to not be simply written off as a nutcase...
