The girl they had gone to Ireland for. Julia hesitated a moment with a
quick look at the guys (her term for the Legacy team) and then at Rachel.
"Would you mind... if I brought her the sandwich?"
She wanted to see the girl... couldn't really put words to it but Kat had
been the reason she had been in Ireland. It wasn't a blame because there
was no way the young girl was responsible for what happened... but she still
wanted to meet, really meet, Kat Corrigan. It would be like... in a strange
way a donator meeting the person that had received an organ that helped save
their life.
She looked at Rachel and hoped she would understand. That and the woman was
the girl's mother. It would be her decision ultimately.
Derek glanced over at Rachel, knowing her over protective nature pretty well
by this point, he felt as though he were reading her mind. "I think that
would be a good idea," he said. "And I'm sure Alex would be happy to go
with her." This would give Alex And Julia a chance to do something together
and it would put someone both he and Rachel trusted in the room with Kat.
He still needed sometime to talk with the others and to....what was Frances
doing here? It hadn't struck him as that odd at first but now that he had
time to think about, it certainly as strange. Well, he supposed he'd have
to arrange for a taxi to take her home. The last thing he needed at this
point was one more house guest. So, come hell or high water, Frances was
going home.
