Julia looked at Derek. This was private and frankly, she wasn't going to
continue with an audience she didn't know or wasn't directly involved.
Derek was completely taken off guard by Kristen's sudden arrival. he hadn't
been expecting her to return and certainly not unannounced. Not that he
wasn't glad to see her again, however this really was not a good time for
any additional people in the house. "Kristen," he said standing nad
approaching her, "this is a surprise. Why don't we go downstairs and talk."
He was mindful of the seriousness of the discussion at hand and decided it
would be best if Julia nad Kat were allowed to continue without
interruption. Derek took Kristen by the arm escorted out of the room
closing the door behind him. As the pair started downstairs he looked at
her and asked, "What are you doing here?"
