Kat took her hand, "I'd rather talk over waffles," she replied grinning.  She didn't say anything about Julia saving Nick, because she could feel the sudden tension and she didn't want to upset anyone, especially Nick.  She liked Julia very much, but she'd jut met the woman and she loved Nick.  The little girl glanced up at him hoping he'd come with them and then started down to her room.  She had kind of hoped that he'd tell her story, but if he was all of a sudden so interested in her being in bed, she had a feeling he probably wouldn't.  "This is it," Kat told Julia taking her inside and climbing up on the bed.     "Waffles sound even better." Julia agreed and pulled the covers back for Kat to slip under, bringing it up and covering her when Kat did so.  She took a look around and gave her a grin.  It was decorated for a girl Kat's age, even had stuffed animals and different toys in different places  "Room looks a lot better than what it did." she complimented Kat before looking back at her and tapping the end of her nose "Might have to get you to help me decorate my room."   She then nodded at the necklace and winked softly "You remember to use that when you need to and I'll meet you downstairs for waffles okay?"   She straightened and went to the door, waving back at Kat and then moving aside in case Nick wanted to say goodnight.   [tag]
