So she got up and quickly followed, speaking up when Derek let the rest of
the team know he was going to go find someone.
"I want to go too." She was a team member and she had to start back
sometimes. Might as well be now. "Ten minutes and I'm set."
Derek froze and looked over at Julia, he wasn't so sure that was the best
idea. She was just back after a major ordeal. He started to say no, but
saw the determined look on her face and couldn't bring himself to do it. He
didn't have time to argue with her about it, so he just gave in. She knew
what she was doing after all, but part him felt extremely protective of her
now and he just wanted to wrap her in cotton and lock her in her room. "All
right," he said hoping that this wasn't a mistake. "We'll meet you out
front."
