I listened to the chatter around me, there certainly seemed to be
interesting times ahead. Perhaps having Danae around would be good for Kat,
give her someone she could talk to. I heard the front door close, and voices
in the hall, "excuse me," I said as I picked up my coffee and moved to the
door in time to see Alex heading up the stairs and Derek watching her with
concern, "everything ok?" I asked him.
