I gave him a look hard look, drawing my dressing gown more tightly around
me, "what earthy reason would there be for me to do that?" I asked him,
already my earlier discomfort was resurfacing. "You know I don't like to
expose Kat to the things that go on here for too long. It's not good for
her."
