Lani had finished drinking her coffee, and watched Derek and Rachel leave
as Nick and Julia entered. She left Kat and Danae in the kitchen and headed
upstairs, remembering Kat's earlier concern. She wondered why no one had
thought to look for their missing member. Maybe the stress made them..as
Merrick put it so wonderfully..three fries short of a happy meal. Nuts. She
frowned at her unruly stomach and wondered where on Angel Island Alex Moreau
could be. "Its almost like home, except that wide expanse of ocean and minus
the ninjas." she remarked to herself as she searched for Alex.
