The panic had abated for now, hearing Nick knock the door and knowing they'd
got home safe eased my mind. I came out of my room to see Nick and Rachel
disappearing down the stairs and Lani and Julia standing in the hallway.
"You ok?" I asked Julia as I gave Lani a warm smile.
