"Too long," I replied. "I sometimes think that they'd need us to get a huge sound 
system and broadcast it to the whole island before they got it," I said with an 
exasperated smile. "In the beginning it made sense, you know, in case it was a big 
mistake? But now it's getting tiring hiding all the time."
